Yoga-CBT for Adults


 
The Center is excited to announce we are now offering Y-CBT!

Yoga-Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Y-CBT) is a 6-week group treatment model led by a Licensed Mental Health Clinician specifically trained in Y-CBT, which blends the effective techniques of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy with yogic exercises, breathing, and teachings. 

Seated poses are used in combination with the mind-body connection taught in the traditions of  Yoga to simultaneously calms the anxiety of the mind and eases stress in the body.

Y-CBT is a research based psychological treatment that combines the scientifically documented effects of yoga with cognitive behavioral therapy. This integrative group treatment model addresses the symptoms of anxiety and psychotherapy with yogic practices and philosophies, didactic material, and group process.
